This song was inspired by Michael Moorcock’s Corum Saga – a couple of extremely fantastic books which I highly recommend.
Anyway, once again this was a lot of fun to make. It is my first serious attempt in the Death Metal genre (though it is absolutely possible that this is not Death Metal by some silly stereotype). I decided that as long as I have not advanced as far as I want with my singing studies and lessons, I rather grunt this song. And the lyrics, which I really like, call for it anyway.
Influenced by various of my musical heroes.
Hope you enjoy it!

The Lyrics:
the eye and the hand
when I open my eye
I see the realm of death
fallen warriors, zombies
foul, rotten flesh
they yearn for final peace
but then I raise my hand
the creatures start to move
undead at my command
they come to kill my enemies
to serve and be released
their victims are the prize
upon their souls they feast
the circle keeps on turning
another army slain
this eye and hand are borrowed
are they boon or bane?
this power is of horror
cause my mind to ache
yet I can not resist
to accept my fate
I cannot bear to witness
endless violence, eternal pain
but for the gods high up
this is just a game
they come to kill my enemies
to serve and be released
their victims are the prize
upon their souls they feast
the circle keeps on turning
another army slain
this eye and hand are borrowed
are they boon or bane?
